On the Homefront...

Hmmm, so it's been a bit since I've last blogged. Well, it's been busy here; changes are on their way. A few pieces of recent news. My brother Matt has up and left for Mexico; on a mission trip, to be exact. You can follow their trip at http://eternallifemissionteam2006.blogspot.com.

My brother Jonathan, returned from Suriname (above Brazil) only last week. (Here he's being
served "green eggs and ham", as per his request :)

Our new car; 2002 Echo; it's cute, quick, but green in colour :( I spent a good hour or two cleaning the upholstery, while Dad shined the entire engine compartment. Is this a guy thing? So confused!

Mortified. (môrt'-te-fid') verb, past tense

Summertime in Dundas

I haven't quite mastered Blogger's photo up-loading... this picture refuses to centre :S The Day Lily grows wild here; it covers meadows and forest floors. Simply beautiful; but, each flower only lasts a day.

Oops :P

Hehe, I was headed to work today when I pulled up alongside my co-worker Paul. After a short through-the-window chat consisting of “why aren’t you at work right now”, I arrived at work slightly after him. Then, I had the pleasure of hearing his colourful description of the affair: “Yeah, I saw this old, beat-up white Tercel pull out of the parking lot... It was going slow, so slow that the truck behind it had to slow waaayyy down, and I thought, ‘There goes some shaky old eighty-year-old-woman who’s liscense should be...’ Then I pulled up alongside the car and it was Ruth!” Eighty-year-old woman indeed!
