Summertime in Dundas

I haven't quite mastered Blogger's photo up-loading... this picture refuses to centre :S The Day Lily grows wild here; it covers meadows and forest floors. Simply beautiful; but, each flower only lasts a day.

I grew up where those Lilys grew wild too, in CA. and I have always loved them. Thanks for the photos. I really enjoyed the last one as well. I wish I was sitting next to the stream with a good book and nowhere to go.

Center is spelled wrong.

Mike, for your own sake, don't get her started on the spelling thing. And don't ask her how she spells "color."

Hello Ruth! Love the blog! tee hee
The pictures from our walk look really nice!

Mykke and Markke, your fore-fathers learned spelling on a covered wagon... you can't expect every letter to fall in the right place in such a situation.

What does "Tee Hee" mean?

Anonymous said...

To the other anonymous: Tee-hee is generally considered a form of expressing amusement. For example, if you start to laugh, with your mouth in the form for an 'e', look what you get. :-)
I also must say that was very nice Ruth :-) covered wagon spelling indeed. Although you could've extended it to their thinking capacities as well. :-D
Sincerely,
Anonymouse

P.S. I'm not sure where Ruth get's her spelling though--Markke! How about, 'Ruuth'? :)

Anonymous; spelling my name as "Ruuth" would be as absurd as say... spelling anonymous as "anonymouse" :P Who are you, anyway? Love to meet you!
