Oops :P

Hehe, I was headed to work today when I pulled up alongside my co-worker Paul. After a short through-the-window chat consisting of “why aren’t you at work right now”, I arrived at work slightly after him. Then, I had the pleasure of hearing his colourful description of the affair: “Yeah, I saw this old, beat-up white Tercel pull out of the parking lot... It was going slow, so slow that the truck behind it had to slow waaayyy down, and I thought, ‘There goes some shaky old eighty-year-old-woman who’s liscense should be...’ Then I pulled up alongside the car and it was Ruth!” Eighty-year-old woman indeed!

Hi! Ruth I am truly impressed with your ability to hold out so long against the inevitably prevailing forces surrounding you. I am also impressed however, that you have succombed so gracefully after a sufficiently hearty struggle. Loves and welcome to the happy land of subjectivity (namely the blogosphere). :)

Mark Daniel!! So much for my inconspicious blog!! I'm truly shocked, you, you... popinjay :P Beka dear, my lack of self-will is a sensitive area just now ;) but thankyou for your warm welcome. And Mike, it is the car, not I that is slow... but you must know all about that (hehe, this Toyota has run a long time on two and a half cylinders --that'll beat any Honda!)

Well Ruth, I was thinking about asking for permission, but you know that's always harder to get than forgiveness. :p :p

Welcome Ruth! Your story made me laugh out loud and while we haven't ever met I have heard plenty about you so I can imagine it! I personally thought Mark's into was very sweet...if you think you can stay inconspicious in the Reimers crowd you poor dear. LOL I am sure you know better. :-)
